Caldeira Invests in Solar Energy and Becomes Carbon Negative
More than 1,000 solar panels with 500KW capacity are installed at the Lees Road headquarters — offsetting emissions equivalent to around 11,000 trees.
Caldeira has installed more than 1,000 solar panels at its headquarters on Lees Road, Knowsley — a first phase with a generation capacity of 500KW, offsetting emissions equivalent to approximately 11,000 trees.
The installation was designed with capacity for a potential second phase of up to 2,300 panels and one megawatt of generation.
Following the investment, the company reported achieving carbon-negative status for its UK operations.
