What this location does
Caldeira was founded in Liverpool in 1986, and the city remains the heart of the business. In 2022 we invested £3 million in The Cushion Factory — an 85,000 sq ft headquarters on a three-acre site at Knowsley Industrial Park, bringing manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, offices and our 4,000 sq ft UK showroom under one roof.
The factory's sewing and filling operations can produce over one million cushions a year, giving retailers a UK manufacturing source with short lead times. More than 1,000 solar panels on the factory roof generate up to 500KW of power.
